What is Aerial Fitness?

Aerial Yoga has been a huge part of our Founder's lifestyle to help ease symptoms of depression and anxiety, while building strength, endurance and a sense of play.

 

Aerial Fitness uses aerial hammocks to support the body in movement techniques while allowing more ease during inversions. The hammock is used as a prop during balancing poses to create stability, while also building strength through body weight training.

 

You will benefit from Shakira's expertise and dedication to enhance your wellness and fitness journey. Feel confident that together we will increase your flexibility, balance and move forward toward your goals. Shakira's mission is to create an environment and community in which individuals feel empowered to explore, find stillness, and gain self awareness through movement and art.

Ready to take flight? Join us for Aerial Yoga 101 at Studio Eleve' in Kernersville!

We will explore the basic poses of Aerial Yoga to build a strong foundation, and learn a gentle flow sequence. Aerial yoga is fun, engaging, and builds self confidence when practiced regularly. It also promotes self love and healing by trying something new and becoming comfortable in those moments of being uncomfortable. We will have a grounded yet light practice to encourage a lifestyle that supports us on our individual path!
